May i ask whether the backup of Plugins retains all the plugin settings etc? So if i had to completely re-install a site from scratch (lets say to a completely new WP install) just using my UpdraftPlus backup files, would everything be exactly as it had been previously? Or are there other measures i should take to backup my site more fully?
Plugins store settings in the WordPress database. WordPress equals its files plus its database. So, yes - these are included.
