Plugin UpDraft n’est plus visible et ne peut pas le réinstaller

Bonjour,

j’ai installé Updraft en février 2018 et depuis, aucun problème sur aucun de mes sites.
Semaine dernière, je passe en php 7.4, fais la dernière MàJ de WP et Divi.
> Page maintenance pendant de longues minutes et ensuite, plus de plugin UpDraft.
> Message à la réouverture de WP : une mise à jour a échouée, la relancer. Ce que j’ai fait. Re-page maintenance
> Ensuite, quand j’essaie de réinstaller Updraft, impossible : Le dossier de destination est déjà existant.

> J’ai supprimé le répertoire sur le ftp, j’ai vidé le cache. Mais toujours le même message lors de la tentative d’installation.
Ce qui est étrange, c’est que j’ai fait les mêmes manips sur un sous-domaine et je n’ai aucun problème.

Quelqu’un aurait une idée SVP ?

Can’t backup database – Table doesn’t exist

I’m managing a client’s website and I’ve set up Updraft Plus (free) to backup database every 14 days and files monthly. I run a manual backup of everything once at the end of the month when I’m updating WordPress, plugins and themes.

Database was last automatically backed on Nov 19 with no errors. I tried to backup manually today, files were fine but the database gets stuck and never completes the backup. I get the error “table doesn’t exist”.

Here’s the pastebin of the log.

I’ve tried disabling plugins but that doesn’t work. I wonder where it gets the table name if it doesn’t exist and why the backup worked correctly 11 days ago (no updates were made of anything during that time).

Thank you for any help!

PS: Since Updraft didn’t work, I backed up my database through phpmyadmin.

Backup not completing, with Binary mysqldump: error (code: 2)

Updraft plus has always been very solid, but for some readon is not completing a manual database backup on this site. The database is about 400mB.

It always hangs in the same place : in the posts table. I’ve let it run for an hour and it doesn’t complete.

Early in the log this error shows up —
0000.124 (0) Testing potential mysqldump binary: /usr/bin/mysqldump
0000.150 (0) Binary mysqldump: error (code: 2)

The backup then continues until it gets to the posts table, where it stops.

The software is up to date. It’s running on GoDaddy deluxe managed WordPress, using Genesis and an old theme. There may be a problem with some CRON jobs, but that may be because of light traffic. Database backups have completed in the past, and there’s no problem with the files backup. Backups by the hosting company are apparently OK.

I would appreciate any advice you could offer.

Empty directories

Hiya,

I noticed that the plugin ships with 2 empty directories:
\vendor\robloach\
\css\tether-shepherd\.min\

This doesn’t cause any issues, of course, just triggers my OCD 😉

Significant increase in Backup time

Hello,
I was hoping to get some help/insight into website issues that started roughly at the same time while using UpdraftPlus. I have been using the UpdraftPlus plugin on two WordPress sites, each residing on different servers/hosting providers, for several years and have had no issues in the past.
About 1 month ago, the backups on both sites were taking much longer than usual. One of the websites (website1) showed a sudden increase in resource usage (significant number of faults) and by looking at resource metrics we determined the faults appeared when the UpdraftPlus is running. I reduced the split archives from 400MB to 30MB which reduced the backup time and faults but the backup is still taking longer than usual.
My second website is a larger website with a small WooCommerce (attached link). Again, we noticed an increase in backup time – the backups were taking over 1 day (they use to take roughly 2 hours)! We also see the warning message ‘WP has a # scheduled tasks which are overdue …’, so I reduced the split archives from 400MB to 30MB. However, the backup still runs over a day (we have yet to get a successful backup from UpdraftPlus) and the warning message still appears.
Both websites have had no development updates, little to none content updates, and are up-to-date with all current releases (WP 5.5.3; PHP 7.3.25; UpdraftPlus 1.16.41). Has there been a change in a recent Updraftplus release (eg. script change) that would have caused these issues? We may need to look elsewhere for a backup plugin but perhaps there is something else I can tweak to get these backups running successfully and as they were.

Back up not working

I am having trouble with the back up, It has worked in the past, now it is not. It takes a long time then I get this message –

File system backup fails (DB is ok)

Backup of the filesystem fails after 10 resumptions. The database backs up fine as long as I uncheck plugins, themes, uploads, etc.

Updraft 1.16.41 and WP 5.5.3

I’ve attempted setting the split level to 25MB as I’ve seen that suggested in other threads.

The nginx/php logs do not have any relevant info, and the Updraft log isn’t particularly descriptive either. I’m stumped!

Any suggestions that can point me in the right direction are appreciated.

Cannot back up my website (error every time)

Hi. I’m having trouble backing up my website. Every time I start, I leave it to do it’s job and I get an error saying the backup was completed unsuccessfully. During the backup, I also get an error message saying: “PHP event: E_WARNING: Error while sending QUERY packet”. Here is the log file I received by email for my most recent failed backup attempt.

Discovering which S3 Bucket

I have a site that was hacked and I can’t get access to wp-admin – I can’t remember what bucket name I upload the back-up to – is there a way to find out what S3 bucket I backup to in any of the files in my WP install. I is my intention to wipe the install clean re-install WP and the re-install the backup but I need to be sure the backup I choose is the right one – any help is more than appreciated.å

Dropbox 400 error

Back ups for all my sites up showing up in one site

Hi There,

Usually only 2 back ups show up in the back end of my site. Recently 29 backups are showing up in the backend of one of my sites. And they are actually backups of the site in question and all the other site I manage and back up.

How do I get it to go back to just 2 backups of the actually site?

Is this slowing down this site?

Manual authentication

Hi there,

I’m having problems setting up Dropbox as backup service, probably due to the security plugins I’m running along.

Website url is ok.

In the orange authentication page I get a “Having problems authenticating?” message that provides me the token but it also tell me that this function is available “UpdraftPlus version 1.16.42 (free) / 2.16.42 (paid) or later”.

Any timeline about whent 1.62.42 free will be abailable?

Backup Now Works despite disabled WP Cron

Hi,

I have WP cron disabled in WordPress:

define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);

Instead, I enabled WP Cron in my hosting to run every 30 minutes.

In one of your articles, you mentioned that when WP Cron is disabled in WordPress, even Backup Now won’t work until WP Cron runs from the server (every 30 minutes), but in my case Backup Now works immediately after I call it. Do you have any idea why?

Found an old trouble ticket mentioned PHP needed the “zip” option turned on. I did that. It still fails and fails and fails and fails.
