Hi
I downloaded a back up of my site as it was getting worked on, the person screwed up the site, and now updraft says it does not recognize the format of the back up, try renaming it. so i renamed it name.zip for example and it still does not recognize it, but offers to backup my site if i buy the pro version?

Because I can’t complete any backups with this plugin and always get the following message:

Hi there,
This issue is present for several weeks already. The backups are incomplete. They stop at some point. I removed the plugin, installed again… Couldn’t connect with Dropbox either, I tried many times and was constantly loading, no success. All of a sudden I could see the name of Dropbox profile in settings. I don’t know if it’s connected or not.
Could you help me? I need these backups, just in case…

Hi.
Okay, not sure what is going on. This was working fine last time I checked (a few months ago), and I just expected everything was running smoothly. But it isn’t.
So here’s what is going on.
1. Installed Updraft plugin is not showing up in plugins list.
2. Menu item does not show up
3. BUT… plugin is showing up in mainwp console (in fact this is the only place I can delete it)
4. AND… plugin is represented as installed and activated when I try to Add Plugin again.
After more tests than I care to admit…
1. Plugin can only be removed by way of mainwp console
2. Plugin can be “installed” on either the url itself, or by way of mainwp.
3. Plugin shows up as “installed” on both
4. As soon as plugin is Activated, it disappears from all menus.
This is happening on a dozen sites consistently. Running Sucuri shows no problems. There are no user problems associated with any of the sites. Wordfence has shown no anomalies associated with an attack or compromise. Sites are running a mixture of:
1. Sucuri
2. Wordfence
3. Mainwp
4. Mailjet client
5. Jetpack
6. GADWP
7. Duplicator
8. Ultimate addons for Gutenberg
9. Yoast
Potentially a few other, depending on the site. There are no other interaction issues that seem to be occurring, and no new plugins have been added in several months.
I’ve tried deleting the plugin, confirming there are no residual files/folders associated with Updraft, reinstalling “local” to the URL, and “remote” via mainwp. All methods seem to produce the same problem.
Any help?

I am trying to do a restore after my hard drive crashed.
I made a new wordpress installation, and I installed the updraft plugin.
After logging in, all the plugins I paid for are disabled. How do I enable these again so they work just as before? Does updraft expect me to pay for another subscription if it expired?

I have used Updraft Plus for almost 2 years. Managed WordPress just updated to latest version (5.2.3), and, when I went to dashboard, Updraft Plus is nowhere to be found.
Neither does Updraft Plus appear in my list of plugins.
HOWEVER: when I try to install Updraft Plus, I get following message:
Installation failed: Destination folder already exists.

Good evening,
I’ve used your plugin for years and LOVE it…this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue with it. The backups stall out when they get to the uploads section. I’ve tried backing up the uploads separate from the others (database, themes, etc.) and nothing works. All others backup fine. I have also decreased the increments from 400mb to 100.
The log is below. Please let me know what to do.

I’ve been using the Updraft Plus plugin for about a year and a half now, without any issues. This morning, I updated the Updraft Plus plugin, and after it got done updating, it disappeared from my dashboard. It’s usually under Settings on the left sidebar, but now it doesn’t show up at all. Here’s a screenshot.
I tried to reinstall the plugin, and after about 2 minutes, the installation failed because it said “Destination folder already exists.” Here is a screenshot of that.
I’m using the Avada theme, if that matters.
If anyone could please help with this, it’d be greatly appreciated! Hope I didn’t clickbait too much with the dramatic Topic Title hahaha.

I have updated to php 7.3 and Provider changed Server. Since then the process doesn’t complete. It seems the zips can’t be filled (stays zero on ftp) – tried to activate google drive / Dropbox only but still doesn’t work –

Hi, I have been trying unsuccessfully to use the Updraftplus plugin to create backups of my site. I keep hitting a problem. I’m copying the last few lines from the log file. If you need the whole log file, I can send that too. Can you help resolve this? I have set Split Archives to 75 MB.

Updraftplus backs up my site around 9pm every day. How can I change it to 3am?

Hi,
I am using UpdraftPlus on multiple sites, and have it make regular backups of each site to my Google Drive. All backups end up in the same UpdraftPlus folder there.
When I press either ‘Rescan local folder for new backup sets’ or ‘Rescan remote storage’ in the backup/restore tab of UpdraftPlus in any of the sites, all backups of every site are listed. This is very confusing, as it impossible to see to which site any of those backups belong (no title is show in that list). I ended up deleting several backups before I discovered they had been backups of other sites then the one I was actually logged in to.
Is this intended behaviour, or am I doing something wrong?

Hello,
I made a restoration of the database that was saved 4 hours prior to the restoration, UpdraftPlus confirmed that all went as planned (my DB is only 2mo), but actually now all the design is lost, the website currently looks terrible.
Strangely enough, in Themes settings, the Typography options and Styles and colors options are set correctly, it’s like they are overwritten by something else. *
Has it happened already in the past and is there a fix?
What I have tried (to no avail):
– clearing the cache
– activating another theme and going back to my theme (FYI I use a child theme)
Edit: OK now I tried changing any random setting in Theme Settings, then saving, then putting it back to normal and saving again, and everything went back to normal. But please investigate about this is as it is not normal.

Dear Updraftplus team,
I have been trying to backup my site since last Saturday, and every time I click the BACKUP NOW button, it starts backing up without a problem. But after a while I get this: Waiting until scheduled time to retry because of errors.
I wait but nothing happens and my backups are unfinished.
It has been happening every time (I have tried like five times now).
I have downloaded the log files of the last two times I have tried to backup the site, if that could be of help I can send those files to you.
Other information that may be useful:
I backup my site to my google drive folder.
I use google chrome Version 76.0.3809.132 (Official Build) (64-bit)
