Hi there,
I’m attempting to connect an Amazon S3 bucket to UpdraftPlus backups.
I’ve setup the bucket and the IAM user in the AWS console but every time I click the ‘Test S3 Settings’ button, it fails and returns this error:

“The request signature we calculated does not match the signature you provided.”
From my brief look online, I can’t find any issues with this error message and UpdraftPlus.
Could anyone advise me on what to do to get this sorted?

Hey There!
Since a few days we got the following warning when we did a backup from our site
“…[Warning] Microsoft OneDrive: Account full: your OneDrive account has only 0 bytes left, but the file to be uploaded has 50753633 bytes remaining (total size: 50753633 bytes)…”
But he had a OneDrive Business Account with 1TB and there will be over 800GB free space availiable.
We get this problem since a few days. before everything works fine.

Using different Browsers, still the same issue. No other Plugins as UpdraftPlus are installed. Original WP Theme Twenty Twenty is used, a switch to another Theme brings the same Issue.
What else can i do?

I cannot seem to backup my site in recent attempts – it keeps telling me that my google drive is not authorized despite everything being in order in my account. The settings are exactly what they were. Whenever I attempt to backup it states that it was completed with error – so unsuccessful. Please help!

Hosted a site for a customer for years, used free version of UpdraftPlus and still have all the backup files. Customer switched to new provider, now they want to come back to me.
Can I do this?
1) Create fresh WordPress install on my hosting
2) install UpdraftPlus plugin
3) restore from old UpdraftPlus backup
4) and then run all the updates and have a functioning site again on my hosting?

I have been using updraft for a while and recently I started over my website again after deleting the older one. I got some questions that:
1. can the backup of the older site be installed on the new site via updraft?
2. If the older site can be re-installed, will the product images from the older site still be linked to their original designated products or I have to assign each image again to the product?

I have probably a javascript conflict between Updraft plus and Ape Gallery plugin. Both affected plugins are of the newest versions, just updated, no result.
Firefox Console says:
ReferenceError: updraft_credentialtest_nonce is not defined
in updraft-admin-common.min.js:1:111
(many times, no event, like XHR, json triggered) and
TypeError: d is undefined
in wp-auth-check.min.js:1:1535
Having Ape Gallery enabled, Updraft gives errors and stops functioning. ONLY THOSE TWO plugins cannot co-operate.
I started a parallel topic on Appe Gallery forum as well. With no solution for now.

Hi.
I was using Google Drive as my remote storage backup and it was working fine. For some reasons, I have had to change it to OneDrive. It also works fine except that old backups do not get deleted automatically (like GoogleDrive). I backup every day and retain only two days. However, when I check the folder in my OneDrive, I can see old days’ backups as well. These old backups are not shown in Existing Backups in Updraft admin page, unless I press Rescan remote storage button. I didn’t have such problem with GoogleDrive but it seems like OneDrive does not listen to “delete orders” from UpdraftPlus API.

When restoring from a backup I’m getting the error “Your web server’s PHP installation has these functions disabled: gzopen, gzread. Your hosting company must enable these functions before restoration can work. Failed to open database file.”
I’m trying to upload from a backup of a live wordpress site in order to test upgrading the php version. I created the backup using ‘Updraft Plus’ on the live site. The backup includes 4 files for the database, themes, plugins and uploads. Three of them are zip and one is a .gz files which I think is causing the error.
I’ve managed to subvert the gzopen error by adding this to the wpconfig.php code:

I believe this all zip files taking my space and wordpress can’t run,
I cant remove this file thru ftp access denied
What command on SSH I can use to remove this?
or any other simple solutions??
