Back up not working

Hi,
I carried out an update on a few plugins on my site yesterday. This resulted in an error, and I was able to restore to a previous version before I updated the plugins with updraft (phew!)

However, this morning a back-up was taken in the middle of the night, and it seems to have deleted the SEO plugin (which had three days of work) and updated the WCMP plugin which is causing errors with my theme and I can no longer restore to an earlier version.
The restore failed message I am seeing is:

Problem in Taking Backup

When i take backup it takes too much time in taking backup and after some hours also it not complete and lastly fails.
Please help me!

Error saving remote backup settings

When I try to setup remote backups to my GoogleDrive, I choose Google Drive e click Save Settings, I get this error in a popup message: updraft_send_command: error: error ()
But even if I don’t select a remote backup (just to backup on my actual server), it gives me the same error.
Using WordPress v5.7 and UpdraftPlus v1.16.51
Can anyone help?

Last backup missing? (urgent)

Hi, I need to restore the backup version.
But I have a problem: there should be a backup every Wednesday morning, but last backup is of the 10th of March. In the plugin settings its written like that:

“Files:
Wed, March 17, 2021 03:30
Database:
Wed, March 17, 2021 03:30
Time now: Thu, April 1, 2021 18:10”

What should I do?
Help me please.

Corrupted backups – conflict with Litespeed cache / Redis

Hi. Since last update (or the one before the last) all my backups are corrupted.

When I try to upload a backup, my site completely breaks and I’m getting the following errors:

I guess its a conflict with Litespeed cache and Object Cache (I’m using Redis). Can you please take a look at that? Right now your plugin is basically useless for me and I was considering upgrading to Premium plan.

Zip size is at/near split limit (395.7 MB / 400 MB)

Been using UpdraftPlus Backup/Restore for years. Just this week, I failed to get a weekly backup on Friday and found my “Last log message” reads “Zip size is at/near split limit (395.7 MB / 400 MB) – bumping index (from: 2) (Apr 02 18:05:31). My backups have always gone into my DropBox/Apps folder and I have plenty of room there. In the Expert Settings panel I have the “Split archives every:” set to the default of 400 mg. I tried clicking on the Backup Now button but that produced the same “Zip size is at/near split limit (399.8 MB / 400 MB) – bumping index (from: 0) (Apr 03 15:05:40)” Can you please advise me on how to proceed?

Critical Error: WP Site in Recovery Mode

Hi, WP reported to me this morning the following critical error:

“Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore.”

My website loads (slowly) but I cannot access the Dashboard except in Recovery Mode.

WP Recovery mode reports on Updraft: “Version 1.16.51. This plugin failed to load properly and is paused during recovery mode.”

I tried to update to the newest version, Version 1.16.53. After several minutes, WP returns “Update failed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC “-//IETF//DTD HTML 2.0//EN”> 500 Internal Server Error Internal Server Error The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.”

Suggestions?

When trying to update to 1.16.53 I get the following failed message:

An error occurred while updating UpdraftPlus – Backup/Restore: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_MISSING_FILE (-4) : Missing archive file ‘/home/********/public_html/wp-content/uploads/updraftplus.1.16.53-q7VcQS.tmp’

I’m on WordPress 5.7 if that helps!

Issue with Backups after moving Hosting site

Hi, I have a site that I recently moved to a new host and I noticed today that the backups were failing. The last successful one appears to be 30/03/2021 priot to the move.

The host is running PHP 7.3.23 and the database is MySQL 5.6.49.

I did clear some files out of the way from my Google Drive (wehere the backups are held) and I tried to do a manual backup. This seemed to restart a few times and then failed. I will try and upload the log file if I can, else I will see how else I can provide it.

Can anyone provide any help on this please?

Corrupt Plugin File

Hi –

I have downloaded a backup of all of my files today. I followed the instructions for restoring my files as I had to switch my DNS number which resulted in information that was stored on the external server to be deleted from my wordpress site.

Upon restoration, the plugins did not restore which has resulted in the discongifuration of my entire site.

When trying to upload a different saved backup of my plug in file the same thing happens.

Can someone please help us with this problem?

cPanel Cron & UpdraftPlus

My host recently advised that I should switch from the WordPress automatic cron to a scheduled cron set up in cPanel instead.

However it looks like Updraft is not running properly using this method.

Here’s the error:

mysqldump: Error: ‘Access denied; you need (at least one of) the PROCESS privilege(s) for this operation’ when trying to dump tablespaces
mysqldump: Got errno 32 on write
mysqldump: Error: ‘Access denied; you need (at least one of) the PROCESS privilege(s) for this operation’ when trying to dump tablespaces

My host advised:

“The dump will have to be executed with the –no-tablespaces argument in order to succeed being run as a non root mysql user. To resolve this you may need to adjust your settings in the plugin to amend the dump command to include the –no-tablespaces flag, or otherwise get in touch with the developers.”

I can’t find any info on this. Any ideas how I can fix it?
